With this new band, Victor Decamp tells a story about reconstruction through a lyrical and desarming music. The melodies borrowed to imaginary folkores and the organic compositions tell the emotional stages we go through after the loss of a close one.

Latyr Boye (cb), Éloïse Fagalde and Victor Decamp studied classical music , bringing to this formation a chamber music approach. Nina Gat (piano) et Léo Tochon (drums) have a very subtle and lively way of playing, wich brings a unique athmosphere to the music of the multi-awarded trombone player Victor Decamp.

The album will be recorded at the La Buissonne studio in September 2026, by Bastien Boissier. The mix will be made by Bastien Boissier.

Victor Decamp

trombone player - composer

Victor Decamp (*1997) is one of the new voices of the trombone on the European scene. Trained at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne (HEMU), he obtained in 2023 a master's degree in classical trombone pedagogy and a master's degree in jazz performance in 2025. Winner of numerous international awards (Leopold Bellan, Innova -Trombone, Paléo, HES-SO, Trombone Jazz Festival Zurich, Cully Jazz Festival), he wins one of the prestigious cultural scholarships of the Leenaards Foundation and is the winner of the Migros Double Jazz mentoring program with Nils Wogram. A versatile artist, he has performed the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Zurich Jazz Orchestra, Manon Mullener 5tet, Scent of Lilac, LUX, Suma Covjek, the National Jazz Orchestra. He has also played with artists such as John Mc Laughlin, Kendrick Scott, Philip Dizack, Matt Penmann, Nicolas Vicaro, Etienne Mbappé, Uri Caine, Bojan Z. He is at the origin of several musical and trans-disciplinary projects (Slide Collective, MUNDUS, Désastronautes) for which he composed. He released his first album "Refuge" in organ trio in 2025, classified in the "Revelation" category by Jazz Magazine, first prize of the International Trombone Festival in Zurich. He released a second album in 2026 in collaboration with the Composer Jazz Orchestra, which commissioned him a program.

Nina Gat

"Refreshing, spontaneous and sunny pianist" - Le Baiser Salé

Nina Gat, Israeli pianist, singer and songwriter based in Paris, develops a universe mixing jazz, pop and song. Trained at CRR Darius Milhaud, IMFP and CMDL, she now evolves in several remarkable projects, including Ninanda (winner of the ReZZo Jazz in Vienna 2024 and the René Urtreger Prize), Era#P, Everblue 5tet and Dood 5tet. She regularly performs on major stages such as Jazz à Vienne, Jazz Sous les Pommiers, Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents, Le Duc des Lombards or Sunset Sunside, and collaborates with artists such as China Moses, Thierry Eliez and Fiona Monbet. His sensitive and bright game is also found on several critically acclaimed albums, including A Place Where (Ninanda, 2025) and The Owl's Dance (Édouard "Dood" Monnier, 2025).

Léo Tochon

Originally from Nantes, Léo Tochon studied music at the CRR in Nantes and then at the Didier Lockwood Music Center in Dammarie les Lys. He now evolves on the Parisian jazz scene and participates in more electronic music projects. His activity also focuses on classical writing and the composition of music in the image. And The Owl's Dance (Édouard "Dood" Monnier, 2025).

Bass

Latyr Boye

Latyr Boye started double bass at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Poitiers with Jean-Baptiste Pelletier, in parallel with his philosophy studies. One year after obtaining his DNOP, he was invited as a soloist to perform Koussevitzky's concerto, accompanied by the Poitiers CRR orchestra. He then completed his bachelor's degree in classical bass at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, in Alberto Bocini's class, then continued at the HEMU in Lausanne in jazz master's degree. For several years, he has been the double bassist of the Camerata Ataremac, which regularly honors contemporary creations. Very open to transdisciplinary projects, he created the CORE show with dancer Adèle Diridollou, for which he wrote and performed the music. He composes and improvises for the theater, and is invited to play at the Blaye and Estuary Theater Festival. He also performs regularly in jazz formations and improvised music, in many jazz festivals and clubs in Europe and around the world.

Piano

Éloïse Fagalde

A curious and traveling cellist, Eloïse builds a musical universe nourished by her encounters throughout Europe. Trained in Paris with Chantal Riou (piano) and Marie-Paule Milone (cello), she continued her career at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with Martti Rousi and then at Musikenene, in San Sebastián, with Asier Polo. Passionate Chamber musician, she performs in many places and festivals in France and internationally, including the Philharmonie de Paris, the Cité de la musique, the Cully Jazz Festival or the Tons Voisins festival. In December 2024, she performed as a soloist the Concertino op. 43 bis by Mieczysław Weinberg at the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine under the direction of Xavier Gagnepain. Graduated with a Master's degree from the Lausanne School of Music in François Salque's class, Eloïse develops projects combining cultural heritage and contemporary creation. She plays a 1894 Gustave Bernardel cello that belonged to the cellist Louis Feuillard.
